What Are Chakras?

There is a lot of contradictory information concerning what chakras are. This is because you are a unique energy being. No one will ever be the same as you – past, present or future. You are a unique expression. This includes your chakras and your perceptions of them. With this in mind, it is essential not to get too fixed and stuck on what chakras look like, what colour they are, what direction they flow and indeed what they even are. With this in mind, what are chakras?

What Are Chakras?

Chakras are energy structures that are part of your energy bodies which includes your aura and meridians. Chakras bring energies into your energy bodies and send energies out into the environment around you. Chakras allow you to sense the energetic environment around you and let others sense your energies.

Chakras have specific functions depending on their general location. There are seven main chakras, with their location often correlating with your endocrine (hormones and glands) system and organ location. There is no mistake in this as glands and organs often require a lot of energy, and a chakra may assist in providing this energy.

Do Chakras Change Shape And Location?

Chakras are dynamic. This means they are not static and change depending on the energies around us or within us. Depending on these energies, the chakras may change shape, spin direction, colour and location.

With this in mind, you should learn about the individual chakras, but it is essential not to hold onto this information firmly. It would be best if you always used your intuition on how to read each chakra. Also, be mindful of how the different chakras interact with each other and what this may mean.

As mentioned previously, you are a unique being who will interpret chakras uniquely. With this in mind, it is essential to interpret what you see and pick up depending on your intuition. As an example, if you see a chakra as a specific colour don't assume it correlates to the generic colour interpretation, ask yourself what the colour means to you now. It will give you a far more accurate picture of the health of the chakra than trying to interpret or force a generic understanding of what that colour may mean.

Attunements offer a great way to keep your chakras functioning optimally. In particular, you may be interested in the Chakra Maintenance Attunement which aims to assist in keeping your chakras cleared, balanced, repaired and well maintained.
